We moved from Cape Canaveral, (12yrs.), to M.I. (better schools, bigger house,yard, pool, garage).

There are plenty of days to enjoy the wonderful weather in Merritt Island, Florida. The average temperature in this area is 95 degrees in July and approximately 51 degrees during the middle of January, Merritt Island is an affordable place to call home. The average price for a nice single family dwelling is approximately $247,000.00. The community is small with about 37,000 residents, so it has that close small town atmosphere.
